Home > Reflective Teaching in Early Education, 2nd Ed > 2. Creating conditions for learning > 6. Relationships > Reflective Activities > To identify the traits practitioners need to support and teach the children in your setting
Work with one or two colleagues to identify the traits practitioners need to work with young children.
Consider your own strengths as a practitioner and the traits you have.
How do the staff you work with complement your traits to ensure that the children in your setting are well supported?
Conduct a ‘needs analysis’; are there areas which you and/or your staff team need to develop? How might you go about this?
Repeat and extend this activity working with the whole staff team.
