To plan resources to support specific learning activities.
Identify the objective for a proposed learning activity, then consider the resources and organization which are required, using the four criteria listed above as a starting point.

Together with a colleague, consider the resources that you most often have available. Is there a need to invest in further resources to increase the diversity? Is there a need to consider how resources are routinely selected? Are the same toys/activities always easily accessible with others more difficult to access? Why? Do you have spaces such as the ‘role play area’ which you change regularly? Who decides what the space ‘becomes’?
