To review TLRP’s principles on knowledge, prior learning, pedagogy and assessment.
This cluster of four principles represents enduring issues in teaching. Take some time to think about any issues you do not feel relate to your practice and why that is. Then take time to think about how these principles relate to effective early years practice and provision. What might they mean for your practice?
If possible, discuss your thoughts with a colleague or fellow student. Do the principles enable you to better understand your own practice? Are there skills or processes on which you and your partner could work together to develop your expertise?
