To reflect upon whether your practice and your philosophy are always compatible.
Think about your value commitments, as defined in the earlier activity (To reflect upon your own decision to work in ECEC). Think about different times of the day, different times of the year and different children. Do you always follow your value commitments? Are there times when other factors mean that you do not always act as you would wish?
Think about how you might adapt your practice, or act to remove some of the factors which cause you to act outside of your values.
Share your thinking with colleagues and discuss how your practice aligns with your value commitments and times when it may not.
