Part 4 examines how we can make sense of the impact of our teaching. Chapter 14 considers important practical issues of how we monitor and improve the quality of our teaching. ‘Inclusion’ (Chapter 15) highlights various dimensions of difference and the ways in which unreflective teaching can unfairly differentiate between different groups of people and inadvertently disadvantage some. It examines the positive role of difference in teaching and learning and how to build more inclusive university communities.
