Does your institution have a policy with respect to widening participation? If so, what is the stated rationale? What have you observed about the way in which this policy has been implemented?

From your perspective as an individual university teacher in your subject discipline, what impact, if any, has widening participation had on you, in terms of the various aspects of your professional role?

How might your ‘inclusive pedagogy’ (see Chapter 15 of Reflective Teaching in Higher Education) be further informed and developed by the discussions in sections 1–4 in Chapter 17?
