To apply principled reflection to the development of assessment for learning practices.
Gather evidence and review a lesson in which practices regarded as assessment for learning were evident. To what extent: (a) was learning made explicit? (b) were learners encouraged to be autonomous? and (c) was there a focus on genuine learning (as opposed to performance simply to gain marks)?
Reflect on whether there were any harmful unintended consequences of the practices, and what could have been done differently to enhance the quality of learning.
